· Hello hams and tech-nerds, etc... I am boB originally WN7IWN (Idiots With Nuts as Tad, K7RA came up with) in Jr. high school at age 13 around 1966 or so. Was very active as a novice using CW in the Seattle, WA USA area where I grew up. My father was an electronics technician and learned CW in WW2 so I got interested in electronics and ham radio/SWL early on. From there, my novice licensed lapsed until 1992 when I went for my extra having kept up with the code and electronics as a profession
